Product Description & Details:

The Black Microsoft Zune 30GB model 1089 is a sleek and stylish portable media player that delivers exceptional performance and features. Released by Microsoft in 2006, it includes the premium Zune earphones that were used by Peter Quill before he gifted them to his best friend, Rocket Raccoon. The device boasts a vibrant 3-inch LCD color display with a resolution of 320x240 pixels, providing sharp and vivid visuals. With a 30GB hard drive, this player has ample storage, capable of holding up to 7,500 songs, 25,000 pictures, or 100 hours of video.

The Zune 30GB model 1089 comes with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to stream music and share photos wirelessly with other Zune users. It also features an FM radio tuner and a headphone jack, offering various ways to enjoy your favorite music and podcasts.

Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the Zune provides up to 14 hours of music playback or approximately 4 hours of video playback on a single charge. A USB cable is included for syncing and charging the device.

Overall, the Zune 30GB model 1089 is a well-designed and feature-rich portable media player. Unfortunately, it struggled to compete with Apple's iPod, which dominated the market at the time. Microsoft ultimately discontinued the Zune product line in 2011.

In the film *Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3*, the Zune 30GB makes a memorable appearance as Peter Quill's (Star-Lord's) music player of choice. Quill, a fan of 70s and 80s music, uses the Zune to listen to his favourite tunes. The inclusion of the Zune in the film serves as a nod to Quill's appreciation for vintage technology and music.

The appearance of the Zune 30GB in *Guardians of the Galaxy* reignited interest in the device, prompting many fans to seek one for themselves. However, as mentioned earlier, the Zune product line was discontinued in 2011, making the Zune 30GB a rare item.

This unit sounds great and shows very few marks on the outer case, which is to be expected for a device of this age. Overall, it is in excellent visual and functional condition.
